All Stars to Under 17 · Friday nights

Start them on grass, by the river.

Eight junior age groups, ECB-trained and DBS-checked coaches, and a pathway that runs from a first All Stars night at five years old to Saturday league cricket. Most of our senior players started exactly here.

Wadebridge junior cricketers lined up on the outfield at Egloshayle Park.

How a season works.

Juniors train on Friday evenings at Egloshayle from mid April to the end of August. Age-group matches are midweek, home games at the park with the tea hut open. Kit to start with: trainers and enthusiasm. Everything else can be borrowed from the club until you know it has stuck.

Fees are kept deliberately low and no child is ever turned away over money: talk to us quietly and it is sorted.

Safeguarding, in plain words.

Every coach is ECB-trained and DBS-checked. The club holds ECB Clubmark standards, and our club welfare officer is at the ground every junior night, introduced by name at the first session. If anything ever feels wrong, you will always know exactly who to talk to.
